Please bring vaccination certificates with you.
All rabbits must have been vaccinated against Myxomatosis and Haemorrhagic Viral Disease (RHD1) (RHD2) at least one week before coming to stay.
I do not accept animals that are unwell or on current medication for an infectious disease. Animals with long term medication will be accepted as long as it is not for an infectious disease.
It is recommended that all animals are treated for mites/fleas one week prior to boarding.
Should the duration of your pet(s) stay be extended I will charge the standard daily rate for each additional day.
Should you wish to collect your pet(s) earlier than the agreed date I will amend your final bill, however, should this be during busy times of year I may have to make a charge to cover for lost bookings.
Should your pet(s) become unwell during their stay here I will take them to our local vet. All vet bills will be added to your final bill and will be payable on collection. I will try to contact you, if this situation arises, prior to taking them to the vet; unless it is an emergency.
Sadly, small animals can pass away with very little warning and very quickly. If this does happen, I will contact you or your emergency contact immediately to discuss your wishes. I accept no liability in the unlikely event that this may occur. You will be liable for any veterinary fees incurred, including cremation, and for any additional expenses occurred.
I am not responsible or liable in any way for the death, loss, damage or illness of your pet(s) due to any circumstances prior, during, or after their arrival and departure from Rotherhurst Small Pet Hotel.
In the unlikely event that your pet(s) causes any damage to its kennel then you will be liable for the cost of repairs.
If your pet needs to be separated from its companion due to fighting or illness, you will be liable for the boarding fee of the second hutch.
A £20.00 deposit is required to secure a booking. The remainder of the balance will be payable on collection of your pet(s). At busy times of year, if the booking is cancelled then the deposit will not be refundable.
Each departure and arrival date will count as a full day on your bill.
Payment: Cash, debit card or bank transfers by prior agreement. Cheques will be accepted, but only if enough time is allowed for them to be cleared before collection.
If you fail to collect your pet(s) within 72 hours after the agreed collection date and I am unable to contact you or your emergency contact you give your consent for me to take what action I deem appropriate.
You must advise me of an emergency contact who has your authority to act with regards to your pet(s).
On collection of your pet(s) you will be asked to sign to say that you are happy with the condition of your pet (s) and any injury/illness that occurs after you sign, is not our responsibility.
I must be informed, prior to booking if your pet(s) is prone to scratching, biting or has other behavioural problems (so that I can be prepared).
By signing the booking form you agree to pay all costs incurred during the period in which your pet(s) is staying with me.
